My New Project

A friend of my Sister-in-Law had some super old pictures of his Mom and himself displayed in an old picture frame. It broke my heart to see how tore up these precious pictures looked. I asked a few questions about the pictures found out the Manuel the owner of these picture always wanted to have these pictures restored. With always having little money to get by on he could not afford to do this and the fear of having these pictures lost forever, I felt God tapping on my shoulder, I knew what that meant so I talk to my sister-in-law in letting me take these precious picture home to see if I could fix them. I have never attempted to try restoring any pictures but I know I have the software to do it. So far as you can see my new skill of trying to restore these pictures back is looking pretty good. This is just a practice run. When I finish the final details I will show it off to you my fellow Blogger's.
I hope surprise Manuel by Thanksgiving day. I found out he will be visiting his Mother in Mexico and what a great gift he can give his mother, A newly restore Picture of herself when she was a young girl.

Nextdoor's debut in " Hollywood "

Marquee Text - http://www.marqueetextlive.com
-------------------------------------------------------- "Opps How did I forget to post this story" --------------------------------------------------------
I am so proud of our son Jonathan and his band Nextdoor. With endless practice and alot of hard work it's finally paying off. October 10th Nextdoor finally made their Appearance at the knitting Factory down in Hollywood. We were all on pins and needles because Nextdoors band manager brought with him some important people to check out Nextdoor play. After the night was over as the band were loading up the van with their equipment it was like a scene from a movie this long stretch limo pulled up beside Jonathan, as the Limos back window rolled down slowly an arm popped out with a business card stretched out. A man's voice called out to Jonathan " I really love the way your band played tonight call me" as Jonathan took the card from this man the Limo pulled away. Jonathan just stood their looking at this card. Then he yelled out " Oh my Gosh " I can't tell you the name of this major recording label but it's big . We are just gonna leave it in Gods hands he knows what to do with it. It was a great night and we all Thanked God for this day.

Golfing with my Girls

(L-R) Patty Stout, Me and Mary Bell

This morning I joined Mary Bell, Cheryl Harrington and Patty Stout for a game of Golf. I was a bit nervous because this was my very first time out on a Golf course. I love miniature golf but Golf is for the big boys and girls yikes. Cheryl and Mary have been trying to get me out to play for a couple of weeks but could never make it. I am glad I made it today. The weather was beautiful the company of my wonderful Friends and having lunch together was such a great was to start my morning.
As we were getting closer to the 9th hole My Mary was swinging like a pro! I have been hearing stories of how Mary and Cheryl play golf and it reminded me of a (I love Lucy) episode when Lucy and Ethel played a golf game .

Saying Goodnight

Yesterday I took the Triplets back home. After a whole week with us Presley was missing her mama (My Sister) I knew it was time to take them home.
I changed over 185 plus diapers, Prepared lot's of homemade yummy foods for them, took them to the park everyday, had lot's of fun arts and craft days with them, picking up never ending toys and messes, Back going out on me, total exhausting, But I would do it again in a "HEARTBEAT"
As I was getting ready to leave my Mom and Dad's house saying my goodbye's my last stop was saying goodbye to the princess Presley and the queen of the house my Mom. I found both of them in Mom's bedroom reading books. They both look so comfy in bed I just had to take a picture and show it off.
I can't wait to bring them back again next week. They bring so much joy to our home. We love them so much.
Goodnight Kieran, Haydan and Miss Presley.

Shopping With Auntie Norma

Friday I took the Triplets shopping you must think I'm crazy taking 3 two year old shopping, Call me crazy but also call me very patient! Kieran, Haydan & Presley love to go shopping with me. I make sure they all have their listening ears turned on so they call all hear when I say "Who wants Candy" Ha! This time when I took the back to Sams club with me ( First shopping story click on here) I learned how to maneuver my items in, under, and around the shopping cart. Also I learned to shift each kid around the cart for weight distribution. Oh ya! By the time we got out to the the parking lot I had all three kiddies standing in the basket so that I could fit all the stuff in the cart! (No kid was hurt performing this stunt) Ha After Sams Club I took them to " Toys R Us" for a Toy shopping Spree. I found out the hard way " You Never Never let a kid out of the shopping cart let alone "THREE" when shopping for toys!!!! I made the mistake of letting them out of the cart to check out the little kiddie chairs and boy did I have a hard time getting them back in the cart. It was a mad chase trying to grab them before the all headed in different directions.

Lights on/ Lights off

Okay Monday morning Kieran and Haydan discovered how to make the lights go off and on.
Thank Goodness it was day light. If it was night the neighbors would think we had a haunted house!

A Ducky Day

Sunday Rudy & I took Kieran, Haydan and Presley to Heritage Park in Cerritos. They really love going to this park because they can feed lot's of Ducks. We make sure to bring a couple of big loaf of bread with three little hands always reaching for food to give to the ducks, We need to have a never ending supply. Has much as we love bringing them to this park, we hate it. Ha! Because there is no safety net in case they fall over into the water, and Rudy and I really don't feel like going for a swim.

Picasso at my doorstep

The Triplets decided to decorate our front steps with their beautiful art work. Haydan kept saying, "Auntie I'm drawing" Awwwwww

Clipping 60 Nails

Imagine the thought of clipping 60 nails in one sitting. I never thought I would be doing that! I use to think clipping 20 nails was a lot. I enjoy clipping the Triplets nails they are all so good. I'm not kidding. When I call out "Time to Clip nails" they all get in a line. I started clipping their nails when they were 4 months each and everyone of them have always stayed real still for Auntie Norma. With Pat gone for 8 weeks on company business and Angela who doesn't have the patience to clip all 3 kiddies at one sitting, leaves me to do it. And that's okay with me.

Triplets are back in Town

It was time to give my sister a well deserved Triplet break again. I brought all three kiddies back to our house tonight. I just arrived with the triplets a while ago. Angela and I met half way between our home and hers to pick up the kiddies. I did not want to deal with the traffic earlier so we met up after traffic. it work out well. No traffic and with my FasTrak transponder I arrived with time to spare.
Kieran, Haydan & Presley were so excited to be coming back to our house they all couldn't stop smiling. My dad came with Angela to help transfer car seat's and kiddies from one car to another. Thanks Dad! Kieran & Haydan finally got a haircut I'm talking "Haircut" like in real short. Like in you could finally see the boys eye's. I will post pictures tomorrow so stay tuned.

What if God was one of us and his name was Jim

Have you ever stop to think "What if God was one of us?" and approached us as a homeless person to test our faith? I told a couple of friends about my experience with Jim, they told me to share it with the rest of the world. So here it goes. When I was in Vegas last week with my mom & Dad we stopped at In & Out Burger to get a late bite to eat. The weather was warm outside so we ate outdoors. As we ate I keep looking at this man digging in the trash and picking up half used cigarette butts to smoke (Eck!) He keeped inching his way toward us. He finally approached us and without looking at us he said " Excuse me do you think you could buy me a hamburger?" I thought Huh, He doesn't want money wow. So I happily responded of course. What would you like a number 1, 2 or 3 he said just a hamburger Mame. Without hesitation I walked inside In & Out and ordered his meal a Number 1 double double, fries and a drink. I also gave him some money and half a box of my cigarettes ( Okay yes I smoke) I happily gave it to this man and as I looked in his eyes I saw a human being who was so down on his luck and hurting to get back on his feet. He Thanked me for his meal and turned towards an empty table next to us. As we finished our meal, I heard Jim softly Praying to God. Wow this I have to hear as I lean over his way I could hear him say;
God, Thank you for this meal you have provided for me today, God you know how hungry I have been and thank you God for providing me something warm to eat. AMEN Okay now I had tears coming down my checks and as I look towards my Mom & Dad they too had tears. As I was listening to Jim pray he sounded like a little child thanking his father for his meal. It was such a special moment. As we got up to leave I told Jim, " God loves him and God will always provide just believe and trust in him. He said yes Mame I know! ........................................................
Here is another little story that happen to me while in Vegas. I don't know this lady name but lets call her Betty Sue the Truckers wife. Really she was a Truckers wife as I was waiting on Jim's In & Out order Betty Sue and her Trucker husband were waiting on their order. We got to talking. I love Betty Sue she came on to me pretty strong as if I knew her all my life I fell in love with this funny little woman with a funny little accent that made me wished I had all night to chat with her.
Betty Sue: GIRL, Don't you look all purdy in them there fancy clothes ahhh heck you just purdy as a picture.
Me: Oh thank you, you look real cute yourself in your Blue sweatsuit and Blue shoes and she also had blue fingernail polish. Ha!
Betty Sue: Nawwww you be lookin all snappy like them fancy ladies on the Tv. I'm ugly look ( As she opened her mouth) I ain't got a whole lotta teeth.
Me: Trying not to laugh cause she was so darn cute I thought let me show her! ( Last week I had my back teeth pulled from the dentist and let's not forget a lower tooth missing)- (This is from my drug use years ago. It's now affecting my teeth) I go in to see a specialist in two weeks to have veneers put on. Anyways I too opened my mouth and said Look at me! I too have missing teeth. She laughed and gave me a hug. I told her see I'm just as beautiful as YOU! and I went on saying to her Just because you have missing teeth does not mean you are ugly. You are such a beautiful Lady starting from the inside out. And God loves you for you, God don't make ugly.
Betty Sue: Ya but you got all them fancy thingy's on
Me: That don't make a person beautiful what makes a person beautiful is how you feel on the inside and how you act. Stop letting the devil run your mind and stop believing what he tells you. and as I got ready to leave I gave her my bracelet and said "Now you just as beautiful as me, with that fancy bracelet on! She smiled Betty Sue: Oh okay I won't listen to that dirty old devil " Devil you go to Hell!" Me: That's right girl you tell him, Remember Jesus loves you and so do I. There are so many people out there who just needs hear that Jesus loves them. It really make such a big difference in their lives to have a stranger reach out to them and treat them with the same respect we all want and let's not judge them because the way they look or act. They are the same as you and me and we all share the same father who never judges and loves us unconditionally.
So remember when you see a Jim or Betty Sue remember my story.

Baby Alex Photo Shoot

Saturday Rudy's family came over to watch the Pacquaio vs. Barrera boxing match. Baby Alex , Rudy's Grand Nephew is such a beautiful little smiley baby who could not stop cooing and smiling, I took advantage of the situation and had a little photo shoot with the little guy. He loved my camera and flash going off and I loved every moment of it. He reminds me so much of my Cory when he was this little. What a difference it makes to focus all your energy on just one baby instead of three when taking picture.

Making George Smile " PRICELESS"

Everyone who knows me know how I feel about the Elderly. I hold them up high with the most highest respect. I really enjoy talking and especially listening to them tell their stories of long time ago. It really breaks my heart to hear there are so many Elderly who cannot tend to their own needs anymore.
When I read my friend Marie's posting on her Blog regarding her elderly neighbor George who no longer can tend to his once beautiful landscape garden he was so once proud of. and how she wanted to go pull weeds and help make it beautiful once again for him, I felt my calling once again for the elderly and wanted to help Marie. She gladly accepted. I met Marie today and we wasted no time in plucking, pulling, trimming. I got to met George himself. He was a sweet little frail man who just recently lost his wife. As I chatted with George I could tell how overwhelm he was by having his neighbor and a stranger (Me) come over and do this for him. He kept repeating, " This is looking so nice " the last time he ever worked on his garden was Christmas Day 2006 that was the day he fell and broke his hip. Ouch! His Caregiver Cindy also help us out.
A full trash can and two bags later we finally finished. Walking over to George to Thank him for allowing us to do this for him, Marie and I witness the most Thankful smile on Georges face that was so "PRICELESS" It feels so great to help someone in need. You should really ask yourself and pray how you can Bless someone who has a need. The rewards for doing that is Priceless.

God was not his Co-Pilot today

Okay I was coming home from my wonderful friend Marie's house this afternoon so happy and full of God's Love and could not wait to Blog about my story to all of you.
Than who do I see in front of me. Awwww my baby Cory it was the very first time since he received his drivers licence that we happen to be on the same road next to each other. So of course I was so excited. " Oh my Baby Boy" I'm gonna catch up and give him a big wave hello and blow him a great big Mama kiss. As I approached closer to the car I see Heads in the car! NOOOOO!!! What the! Oh heck no Cory has people in the car? It better be God and one of God angel in that car. As I drove by my son. ( As always with camera in hand just in case I might need it) Had my camera ready to Shot!!!!
Cory did not see it coming. I honked so loud and long at the same time I took this picture as I drove by him. Ya he smiled pretty for the camera! and of course he immediately felt the fear of being caught doing something he is not suppose to be doing like " DRIVING IN THE CAR WITH FRIEND" He's told me many times he does not do this Ya right!
At this time I'll wait till his father get's home from his business travel to deal with it. I won't say a word and I know Cory See's my Blog. He will be shocked and than get paralyzed from fear of me! Hahaha That will be his punishment fearing me even though I never ground him for anything, because he is such a great kid.
Teens who have held their driver's license less than one year may not transport any passengers younger than 20 (except family members) without having someone 25 or older in the front passenger seat of the vehicle.

Missing the Triplets already

Kieran, Haydan and Presley Left this morning with their Mommy back to be with Opa and Mima.(Our Parents house.) I already miss them so much. .Our house is so quite and empty without them here.

Boys will be Boys

Boys will be Boys! Kieran and Haydan have become two little boys Full of non-stop energy. They are so boys. They love dirt they love playing army soldiers and they love to get into everything. This time they both got together and decided to grab many throw pillows and place them at the bottom on the steps and jump into them with all their energy. I had such a great time just sitting there and watching how much they can have just by doing this. It brought back such beautiful memories of my own babies Jonathan & Cory when they use to do this for many hours. Gosh how I wish I could turn back the time.
Our sweet Baby Girl Presley she such a girl, She did not want to take part of any of this and just stood by the side lines to watch the boys. When the energy ran low with the boys she plopped her self on all the pillow and watched TV.
Here is a little video of our wild Monkeys having fun video

King of PooPoo Potty

Here Ye! Here Ye! I am please to announce we have a New King of Poo-Poo Potty land.
Yes King Kieran was crowned yesterday early afternoon. He told Mommy he had to go Potty so without hesitation Angela placed him on the Throne.
A few minutes later we crowned him KING! We all clapped and made such a great big deal of it. And that made his Royal King very happy. He proudly showed off his prize to his royal court!
One down two more to GO!
