Daily Mugshot

Yes... I'm actually posting. Don't get too excited... this will probably won't last very long before I go back to Hibernation until my next post! 

I've been getting E-mails from some readers wanting to know what the daily mugshot pictures are all about.  So in response to those E-mails I'm posting, Yay!

I’ve been taking my Daily Mugshot for a few weeks now; I just took my 23th mugshot. I’m not doing this to share my ugly mug with the world, rather to chronicle how many diffrent looks I have throughtout a period of time. I’m not sure if this little experiment is rooted in science or vanity, but at a few seconds a day, I think it’s worth my time.

Daily Mugshot is set up so that you take one picture of only your face everyday. There’s no real point to this other than killing a few seconds of your day, but once you’ve taken your picture for several weeks, months, you can view your video that shows you every picture in the order you took them. You can see your transition from the before to the present. Pretty cool huh!

As much fun as it is to see how your face changes over time taking the picture is no easy task.

My first problem is that my serious picture face is extremely mean and bitchy-looking. and I don’t want to look like a crazed middle age woman when I take these pictures, but unless I smile, I look like I’m in a serious state of mind. I try to remember what a  friend of mine once told me, “Make your serious face and then think you’re an angel and think angelic thoughts.” Yea, right! That’s why she’s the model and I’m not, haha. I think “angelic” thoughts and I still look like I'm lost somewhere. I try to smirk, but then my face looks crooked.

The smirk isn’t all that easy to pull off either because I have such a big smile. I try to pull the typical Myspace-pout-your-lips-to-look-sexy look, but have no luck, I just look silly and makes me look like I ate a sour lemon. so I just show off my new pearly white teeth and smile!

I try to look non-chalant when taking the shot and the result is a mid-aged wanna be model,  Nevertheless, it’s fun and I continue to take my daily pictures. So go ahead and laugh but I know you want to try it too 

Manic Shopping

I'm not a spoiled wife, Just a very blessed wife. The hubby is such a giving soul he never questions my spending habits. I have been on a shopping spree. Looking for summer clothes and clothes to take on our up coming cruise. I could spend hours and hours shopping, something the hubby and our boys don't understand and will never understand. Yesterday Mary Bell and I spend the whole day shopping at South Coast Plaza I love that place. I know I could spend not hours but weeks and weeks there.We had such a fun day. UM MARY, We need to do it again! Bless me Father for I have sinned... I have fallen into wicked evil ways of manic shopping. I've stayed pure and virginal to manic spending Lord, but I was tested sorely lately and I failed. I was weak.... so very weak - and I fell into temptation of sexy shoes and figure hugging clothes. Manic shopping got me Lord, it got me good. If I'm going to hell for my evil ways, " At least I'm gonna go lookin good!"

Wishful Thinking

Mmmm! I wish Starbucks offer this on their menu, I sure could of use it today As I Veg out on my couch for hours.I was thinking to myself, Gosh I'm getting old. Last night I walked over to my Neighbors house which is two houses down for some girly chat and did'nt come home till 1:30am I feel like I went out and Party like there was no tomorrow. Not fair!

I just want to say a big thank you, gracias, dhanyavad, danke, merci, thukjeche, mahalo, grazie, dank, obrigado, and all those other words of thanks in languages I wish I knew!

I never thought when I first started this blog on August 22, 2006  I would get so many views  on my little ol Blog.  I believe that's pretty damn good.  Wow over 20,000 views it's exciting but at the same time kind of makes me nervous to think who reads this blog.  I know many people from around the world read my blog daily and I want to Thank so many of you for you beautiful E-mails and the many new friends I made through this site. I also want to thank my wonderful family for allowing me to post their pictures and stories for the world to see. I hope I can continue to keep you always informed on my journey through life with my family and those I love and cherish so much in life.

 

Heels fit for a Princess

Okay Okay your probably wondering "WHO THE HELL BUYS HEELS FOR TODDLERS" me that's who! I would never never buy such shoes for a little girl but when I saw them at Sears I just could not resist the temptation. At first I was horrified at the thought that there is a company out there making these kinda shoes for little girls what are they thinking? but at the same time I was thinking Hallelujah shoes for my little Princess! and when I asked the sales clerk if they had size 5 toddler, she told me the one I had in my hands where the last pair in stock and they happen to be the right size for my Presley I knew it was meant to be for her to have them. (Ya Right) Now Presley could walk around in her own pair of heels without putting on Auntie Norma's. I let Presley know these shoes where only to be worn inside the house!!! (Ha) I don't want people thinking I about lost my mind. Presley is as girley as they come. She loves her very own heels and walked around the house like she ruled it.
