I had a Physical a few weeks ago and since than my life has been a rollercoaster with it's up and downs. I found out my Cholesterol is so high, I am due for a heart attack or stroke an minute now if I don't change my diet. Well I didn't have to think twice about my new lifestyle change. I am finally eating healthy and stocked up on my Omega fish oil and walking 5 miles a day. My Doctor decided not to put me on medication for my high cholesterol YET! She has faith in me that I could lower it with good eating habit and daily exercise.
This morning I picked up my ultrasound CD from the Radiologist because tomorrow I will be seeing a specialist about my Pelvis ultrasound. As I looked over my ultra sound pictures I wonder what the heck is in my Uterus? Yikes! I know I can't be Pregnant, Rudy and I decided to shut down the Baby factory years ago! Ha!
I have a confession to make. This whole blogging thing has beaten me down lately. Can you believe I have been at this for almost 4 years? I can see how it has taken a downward slide lately. I was talking to an old friend of mine who mentioned that I just don’t update as often and she missed reading it. We talked about how it used to make her either laugh, think or just get a glimpse into my life. You know what? I miss that blog, too. I thought maybe I fell out of love with blogging and was ready to move on, but that just isn’t how I really feel. I really enjoy Blogging about stuff in my life, tell a story or post something that will make someone laugh or think. Or just laugh because thinking can be overrated. Ha! I have been talking to a few people who Blog who have been at this for a few years as well and they have felt it, too. And it isn’t just burn out. Back “in the day” when some of us started blogging it was story telling and commenting and hanging out on each others’ blogs to share our lives and stories. That was just when we laughed at someone else’s stupid typos in a post. Blogging trips? That was when you went to another blogger’s home to visit. It was just different. It’s not like I am sitting in a rocking chair talking about the good old days and yelling at the new bloggers to get off of my lawn. Change happens. “Blogging just isn’t as easy as it used to be.”
I am at a turning point in this whole thing. I either remember why I love blogging and get to it or I play the game that the new wave of blogging has become or I quit. Well, let’s just say upfront that quitting is not an option for me. I love telling stories. I love my corner of the Internet– cobwebs and all. But posting only because I am being told I have to by someone else who has no interest in my blog or even just writing to say “Hey, look! I have a blog!” are not acceptable to me anymore. I need to write something like ASAP or get off the blogging thing.
My Jonjon has a new girl! Her name is Kelly. She's a very sweet and very polite and that's a great big plus in Mama's book. She enjoys going to church services with Jon and would like to start her very own Bible class. She attends Cal State Long Beach CSULB. Rudy's almamater.
According to every single headline I’ve seen it seems that there is an outbreak of something called the Swine Flu. I don’t really know what pigs have against us…besides the fact that we only like them for their fatty and delicious goodness.
Okay, so if you are one of those people who thinks the swine flu is going to kill us all I want to ask... Does this pig really want to hurt you? he looks like a damned cute to me... He can't wait to turn into bacon, pork chops, and a Ballpark Frank.
I deleted quit a few people off my Facebook friends List yesterday and I'm happy with the number I have now. I'm not trying to win any popularity contest. And no one should be offended or upset if they get taken off as a friend. It's life. Everyone does it and everyone has it happen to them, for various reasons. I know my name has been take off at times. Yikes!
This whole social networking thing is beginning to swallow my humanity. Being friends with certain people I haven’t talk to in years is too impersonal for me, and to be bombarded with pictures and comments on my wall of acquaintances and their friends' activities feels like I'm intruding on their privacy and frankly I could care less to respond. There's some people that have tried to add me that I know, but I've rejected the invite, These are people (mainly from the past) whom I'd never really talk to in real life. If I ever bumped into them, there wouldn't be a friendly comfortable conversation. When I see people with lot's of friends on their list, I wonder and think what percentage of those people are actually friends they know, or people they'd actually talk to in real life. Sorry to be so pessimistic Ha!, I like facebook, but some people do take it overboard.
The term “Friends” on facebook is a loose term because a person’s definition of a friend all depends on how they use it.
I don’t use Facebook as an alternate universe for real life, New friends still come from real world connections. Facebook just provides the infrastructure to make them work better.

Why a Bear? When Cory started to get hairy a few years back, I started to call him my Bear, Cory had a Ex-girlfriend named Amanda who passed away in November. She use to called him Her Bear so in Honor of her he decided to get a big o bear. 
My Hubby left for Brazil this morning for a whole week! Gosh what am I gonna do without him, Hum, Well I can't go to Vegas that's for sure. Da Hubby has me on Las Vegas restriction for a while, Ya see I kinda spend a little to much on Our cruise Gambling. How much you ask, well it was a few thousand dollars, ( just a few).. I know, I know, But ask me if I had fun?

I am such a bad, "Band Mama", How did I let this super story slip by for so long. Our very own Anthony Colocho appeared on The Hannah Montana show last month. A few month back while my sons band "Nextdoor" were in a recording studio recording their first set of Demos, One of the producers there works with Hannah Montana and Mitchell Musso asked Nextoor that Mitchell Musso needed a bass player to play on the show so Anthony stepped up to the plate and appeared on the show which aired in March. Whoa! Way to go Anthony we love ya baby.

Oh gosh where to begin! I guess looking at my last Blog post March 27th to be exact it's been quite a while since I've posted.. Yikes!I'm really into the Face book thingy and I love it..... Today is my baby's 18th Birthday. Gosh to think I have to grown street legal adults now living at home. Cory's my baby and will always be my sweet baby boy. I'm coming home today from Colorado and will be celebrating his birthday tonight. I'm so proud of him for the way he lives his life, the choices he has made that are so entirely different from mine at that age. Sure he's had his issues, been a typical teen, and driven me to the point of ripping out my own hair occasionally, but for the most part he has been an obedient, respectful, understanding, and loving child. I have been so incredibly lucky to have him in my life. I can't take all the credit for the way I have raised him, I give half of it to Rudy who is such an awesome Dad . I have made plenty of mistakes as a mom, but somehow Cory forgave me for everyone of them and just keeps on showing me every day how much he loves me.
