Goodbye Beloved Tree

A few weeks ago this is what we woke up to. Our big beautiful Tree broke in half. I remember the first day the city planted this tree. When we called the city to let them know our tree fell they came immediately and cut it down to it's roots. I don't know who was more sadden by the sight of our beloved tree Jon or I. I blame the city's budget cuts for not having enough tree trimmers to cut our city trees. It had gotten so big and heavy the poor tree could not support it's weight...

My JonJon

Thanks Jon for allowing me to post your video so that I can share with the world how awesome you are. You Rock Son!!!

Last month Jon and his band NEXTDOOR went to a Recording Studio in LA to do some Rough Tracks which means: (A demo version of a songs that is used for reference rather than for release. A demo is a way for musicians to approximate their ideas on tape and provide an example of those ideas to record labels, producers or other artists. Musicians often use demos as quick sketches to share with bandmates in hopes of having the song professionally recorded) This new CD will hopefully come out sometime in December.

What can I say about my son Jon who has so many talents. Jon is also a great Photographer check out his Flickr site Click Here I am so full of pride for both my boys they are such good well behaved young men and Mama loves them so much. Um and so does Dad. Ha

Is it snowing yet?

As I was getting the Triplet's ready to go back home to Colorado, They asked me if I was going with them . My heart broke as I explained to them that only the Triplets will be going with their Papa. They didn't quite understand why? So I kind of told them that Auntie needs to stay in California until it starts snowing in Colorado. I made a Promise to the Triplets right before they left and told them "When it's start snowing, Auntie Norma will be on the first plane to Colorado. When I call the Triplets just about everyday I ask them:
  • Auntie: Is it snowing yet?
  • Triplets: No not yet Auntie
  • Auntie: Do you remember what you have to do when the snow starts falling down
  • Triplets" CALL OUR AUNTIE"
I've got my bag packed and ready to go! You would think I was having a baby soon. Ha!

No more Bear

Bear our sweet Bear is no longer with us. When the Triplets arrived they were so excited to see Bear again and Bear was excited to see them. I knew I had to give him away to a good home sooner or later. Bear had a real bad habit of peeing everywhere. He was no longer allowed in the house because he ruined 4 large area rugs and our family room had already been steam cleaned twice by professionals and I was not about to spend more money. I have no patience to train bear so, Bear was giving away to our neighbor just two houses down the street. The hard part about giving our doggie away is hearing his sweet bark once in a while and knowing how much our boys really loved this dog.

Look Ma No Hands! Oh My!

Oh My I wasn't to sure I should post this video but the spontaneous side of me said do it!!! PAT & ANGELA PLEASE don't yell at me!

As I go driving about town I love to sing and move my arm around like a crazy woman to my favorite tunes. Well on this day I don't know what the Hell I was thinking.... and call me crazy but I love to put our video camera on the car dashboard because I always have the best conversations with the Triplets in the car and decided I need to capture it on video. As I was going thru the videos I was so shocked to see how careless I was driving and with four of the most precious gifts in the car my son Cory, Kieran, Haydan & Presley! I didn't realize how dangerous this was. YIKES! So I am putting myself out there for the world to see my mistake and not do this.

To Blog or Not to Blog?

Holy Cow look Ma I'm back to Blogging! I have received so many E-mails and phone calls from many of my avid Blog readers wondering if I was ever going to Blog again. So much has happen (good stuff) since my last post that it became to overwhelming for me to get back to Blogging. Many beautiful pictures along with stories to share with you started to pile up in my mind that I just gave up.
You see since my last post back in August 14th to be exact. Rudy and I were in Colorado visiting the Weydemullers.
One August 16th Rudy and I had the honor of bringing back home Three special little packages. Kieran, Haydan and Presley for a whole month. I decided NOT to blog so I can dedicate all my time for them and since blogging consumed alot of my time I had no choice but to let it go. It was the most challenging job I had ever had especially when two out of three became sick with the Flu virus. It was unbelievable exhaustion for Rudy and I. Lack of sleep was killing us. Every single minute with my sweet Triplets was a blessing from God. No matter how exhausting the days became I always thank GOD every night for allowing us to care and watch over these precious children. Every morning as tired as my body was getting I would look forward to waking up to morning kisses and hugs from the Triplets and tucking them in for bed at night as I told them their favorite "Once upon a time stories".
On September 15 Papa Patrick took them all back to Colorado. My heart also went with them. Gosh I miss them.
As soon as the Triplets left, My body gave out on me. I became sick with some kind of flu like virus. and had no energy. I guess my body went into some kind of shock when it became idle. Ha!
Thanks to my sister Angela who finally with her daily reminder to Please start Blogging again, I decide to give it another go! But for some reason or another I am now wondering if I should keep on blogging but as I look at the pictures of my wonderful family I know I should blog.

Angelas Big Debut!

Yesterday on our way to "Gardens of the Gods" we made a stop at Focus on the Family visitors center. Rudy and I are financial partners with Focus on the Family and kinda wanted to see where our Dinero was going and because we just happen to be in the neighborhood. If you are ever in the area you should check it out for yourself. It's worth the stop there is so much to see and do there especially for the little ones. While we were there a woman stopped Angela and asked if she would like to be interviewed for an up and coming show for Focus on the Family that will be viewed on the Internet. Angela gladly accepted. The interview was about the challenges of raising children in today's society and what in particular we do to instill Christian morals and values in our children. Silly Angela did not even ask when the interview would be air....duh... when I ask her about it she said "oh, I didn't even think to ask" I say again...duh!!! I will find out and let you know when it air's...

Spreading Early Holiday Cheer!

The Triplets got into a big box of old baby clothes Angela was getting rid of and noticed some funny red outfits and asked what it was. I told them when they were just 5 months old this was their Christmas outfits. They immediately wanted to try it on. Um I told them they were to big for these little outfits but they all insisted on putting them on and this is how they looked. I laughed and told Angela they all looked like "Elves from Misfit land" but they sure looked cute as ever.

Spending time with Uncle Rulee!

Watching Rudy spend Triplet time with Kieran, Haydan and Miss Presley always warms my heart. He is so caring and soooo patient with these little monkeys. Rudy has always made the time for them no matter how tired or busy with work he gets there is always time and energy for all three kiddies.
Everymorning Uncle Rudy makes the Triplets their favorite breakfast Pancakes! They always remember and talk about Uncle Rulee's famous pancakes and how yummy they taste. As you can see for yourself by their great big smiles.

Weekend Happanings!

Friday I got HornBlasted.
For years I've been watching these silly video's of unexpected humans getting Horn blasted and I would laugh myself silly at people's reactions to this loud horn and thought how much these people over reacted to this horn that sound like a freight train.

Well Friday I was a victim to this obnoxious loud nuisance. It scared the life out of me.
I never knew how far up my right knee cap can touch my nose and how my arms can swing the way they did! and how I can close my eyes real tight and sing opera at the same time (oh so talented me!) ERGH! and I just never realized how loud the blast makes till I got Blasted.

Friday early afternoon I was walking towards my car in a supermarket parking lot and out of no where this car drove by me and tooted it's mighty horn!!!  I now promise I will never laugh and make fun of these poor innocent victims in these HornBlaster video. "I will laugh with them" Hahahaha!

Jonathan was Rear EndedFriday afternoon my Jonjon was rear ended, Well his Scion did. Ha!
Jon is fine, Thank GOD just his car got crushed. I was so glad it was not his fault. The driver of the other car a young teenager was not paying attention, She was to busy on the cell phone (No bluetooth in her ear).
Happy 1st Birthday Aramis Addison
This little Cutie Patootie is our niece Aramis Addison and she turned 1 on Saturday. Rudy's sister carol is her Mommy. We attended her first birthday party on Saturday in San Pedro.
